Crew Leader

Job Title

Outdoor Lighting Perspectives of Birmingham is a landscape lighting company with a client list of over 3000 customers and growing. We are currently seeking dedicated, friendly, and hardworking crew leaders with a background in low voltage electrical, irrigation, or construction to help install and maintain these systems. Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Assembling lights and mounting them in prescribed locations
• Speaking with the customer to upsell other products
• Provide customer with system orientation as applicable
• Proper care and operation of company vehicles
• Ensuring there are proper inventory levels
• Running and burying low voltage wiring in landscape areas and lawns
• Mounting transformers and connecting wire runs
• Clean up of all areas affected by the installation
• Providing direction and/or assistance to other installers when applicable
• Speaking with clients to inform and educate them about additional products and services available

Essential Skills and Attributes

• Has a driver's license with a clean driving record (no moving violations or accidents in the last three years)
• Makes a good first impression by being well-groomed, articulate, personable, and comfortable with meeting new people
• Enjoys interacting with customers with respect and integrity
• Above-average technical ability
• Attention to detail and respect for our customer's property
• Systematic in their approach
• Proactive, problem solver

Education, Training, Experience

• High school diploma or GED.
