Traffic Management Specialist

Traffic Management Specialist DutiesServe as a Traffic Management Specialist and Brigade (BDE) technical liaison between contractors and the Contracting Officer on the organizations strategic transportation contracts.Inspect and accept services and/or contract deliverables.Notify the Contracting Officer of services that do not comply with contract requirements and if contractor fails to correct rejected work.Verify contractor invoices for payment relating to additional transportation related services performed that cannot be ordered (e.g., container detention).Collect cargo movement information, analyze transportation movement trends, identify issues that impact contractors ability to support and adhere to movement requirements.Serve as a Contractor Officer's Representative (COR).Maintain contract files from development, pre-award, post-award, and termination or closure.
