QC Microbiologist Analyst

Johnson & Johnson seeks QC Microbiologist Analysts for parenteral and biosynthetic manufacturing operations in Puerto Rico. The role involves performing microbiological testing, environmental monitoring, and compliance activities across aseptic processing and product release activities.

Responsibilities

• Monitor viable, surface, non-viable air sampling and water/gas testing during third shift biosynthetic operations
• Conduct bacterial endotoxin, bioburden, sterility, and environmental monitoring tests for parenteral production
• Support aseptic processing investigations and provide microbiological technical guidance during filling operations
• Develop metrics and trending analyses to evaluate microbiological data and support compliance reporting
• Perform peer review of laboratory tests and support method validations, transfers, and special studies

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in microbiology, biology, biotechnology, or related life sciences discipline
• Proven quality control experience in a GMP microbiology laboratory environment
• Background in aseptic processing and method validations
• Fluency in Spanish and English, written and spoken
• Familiarity with U.S. and international GMP and pharmaceutical regulations
• Availability to work third shift with flexibility for weekends and irregular hours
• Six months minimum laboratory experience preferred
