Project EngineerWe are currently representing a construction firm seeking a Project Engineer to support active work across Public Works and HCAI/OSHPD-regulated projects. The role involves supporting field and office operations, contributing to project safety, scheduling, documentation, and coordination from start to finish.Main ResponsibilitiesAssist with jobsite safety compliance, documentation, and safety meeting facilitationSupport punch list creation, tracking, and executionContribute to QA/QC efforts by following and enforcing established standardsManage RFIs and submittals from initiation to resolutionMonitor and report labor hours and assist with daily logsPerform quantity takeoffs and assist with procurement processesHelp develop and maintain project schedules and look-aheadsTrack and organize warranty and O&M documentation for closeoutSupport purchase orders, vendor coordination, and invoice trackingCollaborate closely with project managers, field superintendents, subcontractors, and suppliersQualificationsBachelor's degree in Construction Management, Construction Engineering, or a related field preferredEquivalent industry experience will be consideredMinimum 2+ years of experience supporting Public Works or HCAI/OSHPD construction projectsExposure to healthcare, hospital, or public agency construction strongly preferredProficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word)Familiar with Procore, MS Project, Sage, or equivalent project management platformsAbility to read and interpret construction drawings, specs, and scopes of workCompensation + BenefitsCompetitive salary based on experience and project portfolioComprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance options401(k) plan with employer matchPaid vacation, holidays, and sick timeCareer advancement and professional development supportPositive, team-oriented work environment
