In this critical role, you will provide high-quality care to patients undergoing surgical procedures, ensuring safety and comfort throughout the process. You will collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.OR Registered Nurse Key Responsibilities:Provide direct nursing care to patients in the operating room before, during, and after surgery.Prepare and maintain the sterile field, ensuring all instruments and supplies are ready for use.Assist surgeons and surgical teams with procedures, anticipating needs and providing support throughout.Monitor patient's vital signs and condition during surgery, intervening as necessary to ensure patient safety.Administer medications, fluids, and other treatments as prescribed during surgery.Communicate effectively with patients and families to provide updates and emotional support.Ensure accurate and complete documentation of patient care, including preoperative and postoperative assessments.Collaborate with surgical teams to provide a seamless, safe, and efficient surgical experience for the patient.OR Registered Nurse Qualifications:Active RN license.Current BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications required.Experience in the operating room or perioperative nursing preferred.Knowledge of surgical procedures, sterile technique, and operating room protocols.Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to stay calm under pressure.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.OR Registered Nurse Benefits:Competitive salary with shift differentials.Comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance.Paid time off, sick leave, and holidays.401(k) with employer matching.
