Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT)

Job Description

The Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) is responsible for providing comprehensive cardiopulmonary services to both inpatients and outpatients. This role requires adherence to protocols approved by the medical staff and departmental policies to ensure timely diagnostic and therapeutic services.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist physicians with both invasive and non-invasive procedures.
• Administer medicated aerosols utilizing medical compressed gases.
• Maintain patient airways and manage ventilators.
• Perform intubations and collect blood gas samples.

Qualifications

• Must hold current BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Experience in ICU, general floors, and emergency departments required.
• Minimal experience in NICU and pediatric care sufficient to cover emergency department needs.

Work Schedule

Shifts are scheduled during the day from 0630 to 1900, following a 3x12 hour format.

Duration

This position is available for a contract duration of 13 weeks.
