Compensation Analyst

Compensation Analyst – 2 Month Contract (Possible Extension/Conversion) $30 - $34.72/hr • Hybrid in Wilmington, DE (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday onsite) Overview We are seeking a Compensation Analyst to support the design, administration, and optimization of compensation programs that ensure market competitiveness, internal equity, and regulatory compliance. This role partners closely with HR and business leaders to provide data‑driven compensation insights and support key compensation initiatives. Key Responsibilities Partner with business leaders to develop and maintain job descriptions and compensation structures Conduct job evaluations and market pricing using compensation surveys and benchmarking tools Provide guidance on compensation decisions, pay practices, policies, and variable pay programs Lead compensation processes including annual merit reviews, bonus administration, and salary planning initiatives Analyze compensation data and generate reporting through HRIS systems Ensure compliance with compensation regulations including FLSA and wage requirements Review and maintain compensation policies, salary structures, and geographic differentials Support acquisition integrations and special compensation‑related projects Collaborate cross‑functionally with HR, Finance, and leadership teams Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Finance, Economics, or related field (advanced degree a plus) 3+ years of compensation experience including job evaluation, market pricing, and compensation analysis Experience supporting variable compensation plans, bonus structures, and incentive programs Workday experience preferred CCP certification preferred Preferred Skills Strong analytical and quantitative abilities with attention to detail Knowledge of compensation laws and regulations including FLSA Excellent communication and consulting skills Advanced Excel and HR systems experience Ability to manage multiple priorities and work collaboratively across teams Compensation & Benefits Hourly rate is $30 - $34.72/hr. Eligible for discretionary bonuses and participation in the company's medical, dental, vision benefits and 401(k) retirement plan.
