Night Audit/Front Desk JOB SUMMARY Zermatt Resort & Spa is seeking a friendly, professional, and hospitality-driven Night Audit / Front Desk Agent to join our team. As one of the resort's primary guest ambassadors, you will create memorable first and last impressions by warmly welcoming guests, assisting with check-ins and check-outs, and responding to guest requests with genuine care and enthusiasm. This role is responsible for delivering exceptional guest service during evening and overnight hours while ensuring accurate financial reporting and smooth resort operations. • Welcome guests and provide exceptional service throughout their stay
• Process guest arrivals and departures efficiently and accurately
• Complete nightly audit procedures and reconcile daily hotel transactions
• Prepare and distribute daily operational and financial reports
• Answer telephones and guest inquiries using professional hospitality standards
• Coordinate with Housekeeping, Engineering, and other departments to ensure guest satisfaction
• Anticipate and address guest service needs in a timely and positive manner
• Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to management
• Follow all resort policies, procedures, and service standards
• Maintain confidentiality of guest and company information
• Ensure personal appearance and uniform standards are maintained
• Develop and maintain positive working relationships with team members
• Assist with reservations, room assignments, and guest communications
• Perform other duties as assigned QUALIFICATIONS
• Previous hotel front desk, guest services, customer service, or night audit experience preferred
• Experience with hotel property management systems (PMS) preferred
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and guest service skills
• Basic accounting, cash handling, and reconciliation experience preferred
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
• Professional, positive, and service-oriented attitude ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS
• Available to work a flexible schedule including evenings, overnight shifts, weekends, and holidays
• Ability to stand, walk, and remain active for extended periods
• Ability to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 25 pounds without assistance
