Oncology RN Job Details Location: Berlin, Vermont 05602 (Vermont nursing jobs) Healthcare Setting: Outpatient/Clinic – Adult Hematology/Oncology Infusion Therapy Employment Type: Locum Tenens (Travel Nursing Contract) Contract Duration: 16 weeks preferred; option to extend to 26 weeks Shift: 8-hour day shifts (Monday – Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm) Weekly Hours: 40 Estimated Weekly Salary: $2,100 - $2,250 Patient Ratio: 1 RN : 4 patients EMR System: Epic (recent experience required) Orientation: Bi-weekly on Mondays, as needed Registered Nurse Qualifications Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (Vermont or compact state) Minimum 2 years of clinical nursing experience At least 2 years of hematology/oncology experience in an outpatient or clinic setting Chemo and Biotherapy certification (required for oncology nurse jobs) BLS certification (American Heart Association preferred) Epic EMR experience within the past 2 years (required for clinical support roles) Reliable personal or rental vehicle (public transportation not available) Vehicle must have all-season or snow tires from November to April Oncology Nurse Responsibilities Administer chemotherapy and biotherapy infusions to adult oncology patients Monitor patient responses and provide comprehensive supportive care Document all patient care accurately using Epic EMR Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team members to deliver high-quality oncology care Educate patients and families on treatment plans, symptom management, and follow-up care Ensure compliance with safety protocols and infection control standards in the clinical setting Apply now to join our dedicated healthcare team in Berlin, Vermont, and make a difference as an Oncology Registered Nurse!
