As a Staffing Coordinator CMA at Tulsa Center for Rehabilitation & Healthcare, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our skilled nursing and rehabilitation community. Our team is dedicated to providing exceptional care to our residents, and we are seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to join our team.
About the Role:
As a Staffing Coordinator CMA, you will be responsible for managing the scheduling and staffing needs of our facility. This includes coordinating with nursing staff, therapists, and other departments to ensure adequate staffing levels, managing overtime, and participating in quality improvement initiatives. Your attention to detail and excellent communication skills will be essential in maintaining accurate records, resolving scheduling conflicts, and providing exceptional customer service to our residents and families.
Responsibilities:
• Manage scheduling and staffing needs of the facility, including creating and maintaining accurate schedules, weekend and on-call schedules, and ensuring adequate staffing levels
• Coordinate with nursing staff, therapists, and other departments to resolve scheduling conflicts and ensure adequate staffing levels
• Manage overtime, vacation time, and other time-off requests
• Maintain accurate records, including scheduling, payroll, and staffing reports
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives, including quality metrics and safety initiatives
• Provide exceptional customer service to residents, families, and visitors
• Collaborate with other departments, including nursing, therapy, and admissions, to ensure seamless transitions and efficient operations
Requirements:
• High school diploma or equivalent required; CMA (Certified Medical Assistant) certification preferred
• 0-1 year of experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in a scheduling or coordination role
• Strong organizational and time management skills, with attention to detail and excellent communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make sound decisions
