SHIPPING & RECEIVING CLERK
Monday - Friday
7:00 am - 3:30 pm
$18.00 per hour
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Receive packages, crates, skids, containers per instructions
- Perform general housekeeping and organization of the dock and inventory areas to ensure the warehouse is maintained, clean, accessible and safe
- Package parts/material per instruction
- Complete paperwork as instructed
- Operates lift trucks or hand trucks for transporting, loading and unloading truck/trailer
- Responsible for arranging carrier pick-up as specified on the customer’s purchase order
- Work with various hand/power carpentry tools
- Maintains the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition and follows prescribed safety regulations
- Perform any reasonable task that may be assigned
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- High school diploma or GED required
- Must be able to lift and carry 25-50 pounds
- Must be able to use hands for basic grasping, pulling, pushing, be able to reach above shoulders, be able to stoop, bend and kneel
