Scrub Tech Houston, TX Pay From: $38 per hour

MUST:

• 1+ years of experience as a surgery technologist
• Scrub tech experience from a surgery center or hospital
• Must be a Certified Surgical Technologist (CST)
• Knowledge of sterile techniques
• Experience monitoring and overseeing equipment
• Ability to sterilize equipment
• Experienced utilizing a C-Arm Interventional Radiology, or cardiac surgery experience a plus
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• CPR certification is required

DUTIES:

• Review procedure orders to determine materials and supplies needed
• Explain procedure to patients
• Prepare patients for procedures
• Set up procedure room with necessary equipment
• Draw up Intravenous medication
• Enter patient data into C-Arm
• Assist with processing X-ray images
• Sterilize equipment
• Attend meetings with physicians
• Enter CPT and ICD-9 codes for billing and ensure accuracy
• Maintain and order supplies
