Work Environment

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough patient evaluations, including detailed medical history reviews, physical examinations, and diagnostic tests to accurately diagnose various ear, nose, and throat conditions.
• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans utilizing both medical and surgical interventions tailored to each patient's specific needs.
• Perform surgical procedures such as tonsillectomies, adenoidectomies, nasal surgeries, and other otolaryngological surgeries, employing advanced techniques and equipment.
• Prescribe appropriate medications and therapies to manage symptoms, promote healing, and enhance overall patient well-being.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including audiologists, speech-language pathologists, and radiologists, to enhance patient care and optimize treatment outcomes.
• Educate patients on their diagnoses, treatment options, and preventive measures, fostering active participation in their healthcare decisions.
• Maintain accurate and current electronic medical records documenting treatment plans, progress notes, and relevant observations.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Qualifications

• Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited medical school is required.
• Completion of an accredited residency program in Otolaryngology.
• Current board certification or eligibility for certification by the American Board of Otolaryngology.
