Position Overview
Peyton Resource Group (PRG) is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Talent Sourcer to support our recruiting team by identifying, engaging, and qualifying top talent across multiple industries. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys networking, conducting candidate outreach, and supporting the recruiting process from sourcing through submission.
The Talent Sourcer will work closely with recruiters and account managers to build candidate pipelines, conduct initial candidate screenings, maintain accurate records, and provide administrative support throughout the recruiting lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
Candidate Sourcing & Recruiting Support
- Source qualified candidates through job boards, LinkedIn, social media platforms, referrals, and internal databases.
- Utilize recruiting tools and applicant tracking systems (ATS) to identify passive and active candidates.
- Build and maintain talent pipelines for current and future hiring needs.
- Review resumes and evaluate candidate qualifications against client requirements.
- Conduct initial phone screens to assess candidate experience, skills, availability, compensation expectations, and overall fit.
- Schedule interviews between candidates and recruiters, hiring managers, and clients.
- Present candidate profiles and screening notes to recruiters for further consideration.
Candidate Engagement
- Contact prospective candidates through phone calls, emails, text messaging, and professional networking platforms.
- Develop and maintain strong candidate relationships to support future hiring initiatives.
- Follow up with candidates throughout the recruitment process to ensure a positive candidate experience.
- Provide candidates with information regarding job opportunities, company culture, and hiring timelines.
Administrative & Operational Support
- Maintain accurate candidate records within the applicant tracking system.
- Update candidate resumes to align with client-specific requirements and formatting standards.
- Assist with preparing candidate summaries, interview notes, and submission packages.
- Track candidate activity, sourcing metrics, and recruiting pipelines.
- Support onboarding activities and pre-employment processes when needed.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, employment laws, and client requirements.
- Assist with general administrative tasks supporting recruiting operations.
Team Collaboration
- Partner with recruiters and account managers to understand client hiring needs and priorities.
- Participate in recruiting team meetings, sourcing strategy sessions, and pipeline reviews.
- Contribute ideas for improving sourcing strategies, recruiting processes, and candidate engagement efforts.
Qualifications
- 1+ years of recruiting, sourcing, customer service, sales, administrative, or related experience preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Comfortable making high-volume outbound calls and engaging candidates by phone.
- Experience using job boards such as Indeed, LinkedIn Recruiter, CareerBuilder, ZipRecruiter, or similar platforms preferred.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Outlook, and internet-based recruiting tools.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Detail-oriented with strong follow-through and documentation skills.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and CRM platforms.
- Resume review and candidate screening experience.
- Recruiting, staffing agency, or talent acquisition experience.
- Strong time management and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to build rapport quickly and professionally with candidates.
