Clinical Therapist (PRN) - Endocrinology

Location Medical Center – Fort Worth Summary The Clinical Therapist (PRN) will provide psychosocial assessments for patients and families, primarily serving the Endocrinology clinic. The therapist will conduct individual and family therapy, cognitive supportive therapy, crisis intervention services, and triage services for further mental health interventions. The primary treatment group includes patients, families, and/or their caregivers. This position serves as a liaison between the Department of Psychiatry and other medical specialties to ensure continuity of care. Hours Standard weekly hours: 12. Preferred coverage from 8 a.m. – 5 p.m. Monday to Friday with occasional weekend shifts. Responsibilities Conduct psychosocial assessments of patients and families. Provide individual, family, group, and play therapy. Deliver cognitive supportive therapy and crisis intervention. Offer triage services for additional mental‑health interventions. Act as liaison between Psychiatry and other medical specialties to coordinate care. Qualifications Master’s degree in social work, counseling, or related field. Experience in Family, Individual, Group, and Play therapy. Hospital and pediatric experience preferred. Education in child growth and development required. LCSW or LPC licensure in the state of Texas. CPR and CPI Non‑Violent Crisis Intervention certification, or completion required within 60 days of start date.
