Surgical Tech - Certified Surg Tech

Registered Nurse (RN)This role primarily involves general cases. The individual must be capable of working with all case types. Experience in vascular procedures is essential. The facility is a Level III Trauma Center with a Level III NICU. It holds a Magnet Designation and is a Primary Stroke Center. There are a total of 636 beds. The operating room has 21 beds. Patient ratio is 1:1. First-time travelers may require further approval from the hiring supervisor. Required skills include neuro, ENT, and spine surgeries. Specific procedures include laminectomies, ALIFs, fusions, and discectomies. Cranial surgeries include tumor removal and EVDs. Experience with navigation equipment such as Medtronic and Stryker is necessary. Knowledge of various specialties such as orthopedic, laparoscopic, and general oncology is required. Floating across the general main OR specialty and urology center is expected. Charting system used is EPIC. Variable start times for day shifts may range from 5:30 AM to 7:00 AM. Call scheduling is subject to change based on staffing needs. Scrubs are provided, and surgical caps need to be covered by a surgical bouffant. Food options include a café and Starbucks on campus.
