Salary/Wage: $20.00 - $42.00 / hour

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Diesel Mechanic to join our team. In this role, you will perform routine maintenance, diagnostics, and complex repairs on a variety of diesel vehicles and heavy equipment. Your focus will be on safety, quality craftsmanship, and minimizing vehicle downtime.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose & Repair: Troubleshoot and repair electrical, hydraulic, brake, air, suspension, and steering systems.
- Engine Work: Perform minor and major engine diagnostics and repairs on major platforms (e.g., Cummins, Detroit, Duramax, Powerstroke).
- Routine Maintenance: Complete PM services, oil changes, tire rotations, and federal DOT inspections.
- Diagnostic Tools: Utilize advanced computer diagnostic software to read codes and trace electrical faults.
- Documentation: Accurately document all repairs, parts used, and labor hours in our shop management system.
- Safety First: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in compliance with OSHA standards.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 2–3 years of hands-on experience as a Diesel Mechanic or Heavy Truck Technician.
- Tools: Must possess a personal set of basic mechanic tools up to 1/2" drive.
- License: Valid Driver’s License required (CDL Class A or B is a major plus, but not required).
- Certifications: ASE certifications or OEM factory training are highly preferred.
- Physical Ability: Able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand or kneel for extended periods.
