Oncology Nurse Practitioner

Locations:
- Waterford, Norwich, Plainfield, CT
Start Date: As soon as credentialed
Duration: Minimum 3 months (extensions or locums to perm)
License: Active CT license required
Schedule:
- Monday Friday, 8:00 AM 4:30 PM (negotiable)
- On-call for physicians preferred: every 3rd weekend + 1 day per week
Assignment Overview:
- Handle follow-up oncology visits, chemo teaches, and provide emergent support for infusion centers
- Procedures: Bone marrow biopsies (in-office)
- Setting: Outpatient; inpatient work potentially available
Patient Load:
- Full day, variable by visit type
- Follow-ups: 30 minutes
- New patients: 1 hour
Credentialing:
- Standard timeframe: 90 days
