The Opportunity As a Portland - Audit - Intern, you will engage in financial statement audits, gaining exposure to PwC's methodologies and practices. Responsibilities Supporting audit teams in conducting financial statement audits to uphold transparency and compliance Participating in the review and verification of financial documents to confirm accuracy and adherence to regulations Applying auditing methodologies to assist in the evaluation of financial information Observing and learning from experienced auditors to gain insights into audit processes and practices Engaging in basic tasks and research to contribute to the team's success Assisting in the application of accounting and financial reporting standards during audits Collaborating with team members to enhance understanding of client management and relationship development Developing a foundational understanding of internal controls and their role in financial audits Utilizing active listening skills to effectively gather and interpret information during audit engagements What You Must Have Currently pursuing or have completed a Bachelor's degree in the following field of study: Accounting At least a 3.0 overall GPA Demonstrated ability to communicate (i.e., read, write, speak) with business level fluency in Chinese and English Before starting full-time at PwC, meet the educational requirements to be eligible to sit for the CPA exam in your intended state of employment Client service intern positions are considered entry-level roles. Actual compensation within the range will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience, qualifications and location, and applicable employment laws.
