Director Of Nursing (Don)

Are you an experienced Registered Nurse and nursing leader ready for your next opportunity? We're looking for a Director of Nursing (DON) to lead the clinical team at a skilled nursing and long-term care community in Keysville, VA.

This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on nursing leader who is passionate about quality care, developing their team, and creating a positive resident experience.

What You'll Do:

• Lead and oversee the nursing department and clinical operations
• Supervise, mentor, and develop nursing staff
• Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations and maintain survey readiness
• Monitor quality measures, infection prevention, documentation, and clinical outcomes
• Collaborate with the Administrator and interdisciplinary team to provide excellent resident care
• Support staffing, scheduling, education, and performance management
• Build strong relationships with residents, families, physicians, and staff
• Help drive clinical quality, employee engagement, and overall nursing excellence

What We're Looking For:

• Active RN license in Virginia
• Previous DON or ADON experience in skilled nursing/long-term care
• Strong knowledge of SNF clinical operations and regulatory requirements
• Proven leadership and team-building skills
• Strong communication and organizational abilities
• A compassionate, resident-focused approach to care
