Discovery Business and System Analyst (Top Secret Clearance Required)

Discovery Business and System Analyst Employment Type: Full-Time, Executive-Level Department: Legal CGS is seeking a dedicated Discovery Business and System Analyst to join a fast‑paced, hard‑working team to assist with legal accounts. As a Discovery Business and System Analyst, you will play a key role in supporting various aspects of the company’s portfolio, analyzing and improving business processes, and ensuring technology solutions meet business needs. Skills And Attributes For Success Document and manage new and existing business processes to facilitate training, analysis, and redesign. Conduct thorough analyses of existing and new business processes and identify opportunities for improving workforce efficiency. Analyze operational business requirements and conduct gap analysis for modifications to existing processes. Create and maintain a requirements database that documents how each business requirement is being supported. Validate that any proposed solution meets the underlying needs of existing requirements. Collect marketing materials from industry solution providers that claim to satisfy identified business requirements. Document and manage functional capabilities provided by existing and proposed IT solutions. Analyze existing capabilities against documented business requirements to determine gaps in technology that impede efficient process execution. Compare marketing materials and deliver an Analysis of Alternatives for the Program Management Office (PMO) to identify and prioritize new projects. Validate that proposed solutions deliver new functional capabilities addressing existing requirements. Build and execute thorough test scripts to evaluate multiple products and recommend purchases. Review solution configuration changes to keep the Discovery Program’s business capabilities accurate. Perform other systems analysis, research, and documentation tasks as assigned.
