Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct individualized therapy sessions with clients, providing assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning while addressing a variety of emotional and behavioral issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship challenges.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and solution-focused therapy, to support clients’ mental health goals.

• Maintain compliance with all documentation and regulatory requirements, ensuring accurate and timely record-keeping in accordance with best practices in mental health care.

• Develop and implement personalized care plans in collaboration with clients, focusing on their unique needs and aspirations, and adjusting treatment strategies based on client progress.

• Engage in interdisciplinary collaboration with physicians, care teams, and community resources to coordinate comprehensive care and address clients’ evolving needs.

• Represent Discovery Mood Clinical Services at community events and workshops, fostering relationships with other mental health professionals and organizations to enhance community awareness and support.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our client base encompasses a diverse range of individuals seeking mental health services, including children, adolescents, adults, and families. As a therapist, you will work with clients who experience a variety of mental health challenges, including mood disorders, anxiety disorders, adjustment issues, and trauma-related difficulties. Your role will be pivotal in assisting clients to develop coping strategies and achieve their personal therapy goals.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Mental Health Counseling is mandatory.

• A valid independent licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) is required.
