Job Summary:
Surgical Telemetry Nurse in Springfield, Missouri. This position involves providing specialized patient care within the surgical telemetry unit of a healthcare facility. Candidates are required to bring their current RN (Registered Nurse) license on the first day of employment. The role entails working night shifts, with a scheduled 12-hour shift from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, and a minimum of 36 hours per week, for an assignment duration of 13 weeks.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Nights, 1900-0700, minimum 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Current RN license eligible for licensure in Missouri or licensed in Missouri; BLS (Basic Life Support) certification from AHA (American Heart Association); must have 1 year of inpatient Telemetry nursing experience, with experience and competence in drug titration; Trauma certification credits or ability to complete within two weeks.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience in trauma and inpatient units.
• Float: Float rotation may be required.
• Additional Information: Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care, monitors and coordinates patient activities with ancillary departments, maintains patient rights and confidentiality, and adheres to hospital standards. The role involves direct patient care for all age groups, assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation, and coordination of care, with significant physical activity and exposure to blood and body fluids.
