Automotive TechnicianTunkhannon Ford is seeking an experienced Automotive Technician to join our team. As an Automotive Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing various automotive issues, performing routine maintenance and inspections, while ensuring satisfaction and safety.Job Responsibilities:Perform diagnostic tests and troubleshoot vehicle issues using specialized tools and equipment.Transmission and engine repairsSuspension and steering repairsWarranty and recall repairsFollow manufacturer specifications and guidelines.Maintain accurate records of service history, parts, and inventory.Communicate with customers, services advisors, and service managers on timeline for repairs and maintenance.Provide estimates or recommendations for repairs and maintenance.Adhere to all safety regulations and guidelines.Keep work area clean and organized.Other duties as assigned.Job Requirements:High School Diploma or equivalentValid Driver's LicenseASE Certification preferred.State and Emissions certification.Automotive Service Technician experience required.Proficient in using tools and equipment for automotive repair.Knowledge of various makes and models of vehicles.Ability to work under limited supervisionExcellent problem solving, troubleshooting, and customer service skills.Schedule:Monday-Friday8:00am-4:30pmFull TimeThe Pompey Automotive Group is an equal opportunity employer.
