Career Opportunity The Electrician will install and maintain the electrical wiring, fixtures, and systems in the modular units. Job Requirements High school diploma or equivalentMust be able to read and interpret mechanical and electrical blueprints, electrical schematics and parts specificationsInterpret construction documents, specifications, verbal and written instructionsWork in restricted areas and possible at heightsAbility to work on tight deadlines under pressurePerform as a self-starter and also a team playerDemonstrate critical thinking skills with the capability to troubleshoot and make logical project minded decisions Physical Requirements Ability to work in all elements depending on job location and time of yearMust be able to stand, sit, walk, kneel, stoop, or drive for long periods of timeMust physically be capable of lifting and carrying up to 75 lbs Essential functions: Installation of electrical wiring, fixtures, and equipmentSet switchgear, panels, and other distribution equipmentMeasure, cut and bend conduitTrace out short circuits in wiring, along with troubleshooting other electrical issuesMake minor electrical repairsMaintain tools and equipmentWork closely with the QC Department, Master Electricians, Supervisors, and Plant ManagerLead individuals to allow learning and developmentMaintain cleanliness of electrical shop and job sites, while practicing appropriate safety procedures.Assist and support other production floor operations as required.Demonstrate excellent and efficient communicationManage project files, drawings, documents and records in our systemPerform in accordance with the National Electrical Code3+ years in a manufacturing environmentAbility to troubleshoot electrical systems.Must be able to read and interpret mechanical and electrical blueprints, electrical schematics and parts specifications.
