Position Full‑time Registered Nurse – Surgical Intensive Care Department, UHealth (UTower) Overview The University of Miami offers an exciting opportunity for a full‑time Registered Nurse to work in the UHealth Hospital Surgical Intensive Care Department at UTower. The RN collaborates with an interdisciplinary team to prescribe, coordinate, evaluate, and deliver patient care in accordance with nursing process and standards of care. Additionally, the RN directs patient and family teaching. Responsibilities Prescribes, coordinates, evaluates, and delivers patient care. Collaborates with interdisciplinary team in the nursing process. Directs and guides patient and family teaching. Qualifications Graduate from an accredited school of nursing; Bachelor’s degree (BSN) preferred. RNs hired with an Associate’s (ASN) degree have two years to complete BSN. Valid Florida Registered Nurse License. BLS/ACLS certification required. Minimum 2 years of critical‑care nursing experience.
