Location This position is located at 1300 South Dean Avenue, Raymore, Missouri, 64083 United States Role Summary A skilled Alteration & Tailoring Specialist possesses a background in tailoring coupled with a mastery of techniques aimed at restoring garments to their original quality. With a keen eye for detail, they focus on meticulously repairing garments to their intended appearance, demonstrating a sense of urgency to ensure timely completion. From minor fixes to more complex alterations, they adeptly utilize both hand sewing and machine sewing methods to address a diverse range of garment damages. They are motivated team players with a positive attitude and possess good organizational and communication skills. Individuals should be able to function well in a multi-task environment with attention to detail, and willing to accept new and diverse assignments. They must be able to work with all organizational levels including fellow employees and management. Role Responsibilities Proficient in a diverse range of hand‑sewing techniques for various garment fixes Deep understanding of garment construction principles Competent in basic math and computer skills essential for precise measurements and digital documentation Adherence to rigorous safety regulations ensuring a secure working environment Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with team members Meticulous attention to detail and commitment to upholding high‑quality standards Dedicated to maintaining an organized and efficient workspace conducive to productivity Consistently meets or exceeds productivity standards while delivering exceptional results Utilizes scanning devices proficiently for inventory management and tracking purposes Willingly takes on additional responsibilities as assigned by supervisors or managers to contribute to team success Role Qualifications Must be 18 years or older High school degree or GED is preferred Comprehend and follow work instructions to meet productivity and quality standards Maintain acceptable attendanceand must be able to work overtime as required Must be able to work in a warehouse environment Physical Requirements Stand and walk throughout a shift Climb, balance, kneel, crouch, or crawl for extended periods Reach, pull, push, and lift freight and other objects of various shapes, sizes, and weights up to 50 pounds Operate warehouse equipment safely as required for the position The Perks URBN offers comprehensive Perks & Benefits to employees.
