Position Overview

We are looking for a dedicated and intuitive Sonography / Ultrasound Technologist to join our expanding team of imaging specialists who are committed to providing outstanding patient care. You will utilize cutting-edge ultrasound technology to conduct a range of diagnostic examinations, working closely with a supportive team of clinicians to ensure patients receive timely and precise imaging.

Description of Responsibilities

• Conduct a range of ultrasound examinations, such as abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging.
• Prioritize patient comfort and safety throughout procedures, providing clear and compassionate explanations at each stage.
• Work collaboratively with radiologists and referring providers to deliver high-quality diagnostic images.
• Efficiently operate and maintain imaging equipment, promptly reporting any issues.
• Accurately document procedures and maintain patient records in an electronic medical system.
• Keep abreast of developments in ultrasound imaging techniques and best practices.

Education Requirements

• An Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related field.
• Completion of a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program is preferred.

Certifications Required

• Active certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or equivalent.
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is preferred.
