Reg Resp Care Practitioner

Fort Wayne, IN – Parkview Regional Medical Center – Respiratory Care – Allied Health – Part Time (7a‑7p days) – Req #183252. Summary Provides care to all patient populations for therapeutic purposes. Provides bedside diagnostic procedures as needed. Reviews and maintains respiratory care plans. Performs evaluations on patients and adjusts the care appropriately. Assists as a preceptor for students and new hires. Education Graduate of a respiratory therapy program. License & Certification Entry-level certification and valid Registered Respiratory Therapist credential from the NBRC. Current Indiana State license for Respiratory Care Practitioners. Current CPR certification. For Parkview Randallia (excludes Pulmonary Rehab and PFT areas): ACLS and NRP certifications or obtain within 6 months. For Community Hospital locations: ACLS and NRP certifications or obtain within 6 months from date of hire or transfer; PALS and Stable preferred but not required.
