REGISTERED NURSE (RN), Special Procedures -Cath Lab

Job Summary Registered Nurse (RN), Special Procedures – Cath Lab. Day shift 7 am–5:30 pm, Monday–Friday. In‑office at Adventist Health Montebello, with training at White Memorial campus. Must have at least one year of Cath Lab experience. Floating required at White Memorial as needed. Job Requirements BSN preferred. RN licensure required. ACLS & BLS certifications required. Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification from approved vendor required. Hospital Fire and Life Safety (HLFS) certification required. Advanced ECG certification preferred. Essential Functions Collects relevant patient data. Analyzes assessment data to determine diagnosis and care issues. Develops and implements care plans. Monitors and interprets ECG, hemodynamic parameters, and shunt/valve data. Operates MIDAS computerized system and reports findings. Connects ECG leads and alerts physicians to changes. Operates specialized equipment: Datascope IABP, Baxter Cardiac Output, Automated Coagulation Timer, Unistat Oximeter, Medrad injector, Life Pak, defibrillator, Sony digital systems, GE Advantx X‑ray system. Collaborates with patients, families, and healthcare team to provide safe, humane care. Provides education to patients/families and staff. Performs other related duties as assigned.
