We’re seeking detail‐driven Monitor Technicians to support patient care by continuously observing and interpreting cardiac rhythms. In this role, you’ll play a critical part in early detection of cardiac changes—helping clinical teams respond quickly and effectively.

Schedule

• 7a or 7p | 12‐Hour Shifts
• Per Diem flexibility

What You’ll Do

• Continuously monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms using telemetry and EKG systems
• Identify and recognize abnormal rhythms, arrhythmias, and critical changes in patient status
• Promptly notify nursing or medical staff of significant rhythm changes or concerns
• Accurately document rhythm interpretations and monitoring data in the electronic medical record
• Maintain proper function of monitoring equipment and report equipment issues as needed
• Collaborate with nursing and clinical teams to support patient safety and quality care
• Adhere to patient confidentiality, safety standards, and hospital protocols [betterteam.com], [interviewguy.com]

What We’re Looking For

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Monitor Technician, Telemetry Tech, or EKG Technician required
• EKG/Telemetry certification preferred
• BLS or CPR certification required
• Strong knowledge of cardiac rhythms and rhythm interpretation
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to maintain focus for extended periods
• Strong communication skills with the ability to escalate concerns appropriately
• Ability to remain calm and effective in a fast‐paced clinical environment [betterteam.com], [interviewguy.com]
