Respiratory Therapy - Registered Respiratory Therapist
This position is for a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) working day shifts from 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM, Monday–Friday, with 40 hours per week and every other weekend rotation. This is a permanent placement opportunity with a company-owned facility offering a salary range of $36–$40/hr. The RRT provides respiratory care services to patients with acute and chronic cardiopulmonary conditions.
Requirements: Candidates must hold an active RRT credential (NBRC) and applicable state licensure. BLS certification is required; ACLS/PALS may be preferred. Experience in acute care, rehab, or long-term care settings is preferred. Strong knowledge of respiratory equipment, oxygen therapy, and ventilator management is essential.
Responsibilities include performing respiratory assessments, administering oxygen therapy, managing ventilators, delivering aerosolized medications, and responding to respiratory emergencies. The RRT will also monitor patient progress, document treatments, collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, and ensure adherence to clinical protocols and safety standards.
