BHU Psychiatrist in San Diego, CA

Alliance for Wellness is a well-established physician-founded and physician-led psychiatric group serving Southern California since 2010. We are currently seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Psychiatrist to join our diverse and seasoned group of Board-Certified Providers to support our San Diego County partner. Responsibilities: Provide inpatient psychiatric care, rounding in-person with support from a multidisciplinary team of Psychiatrists and Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioners. Provide collaborative and efficient patient care by utilizing the hospital EMR. Availability to provide telehealth services, treating patients via video/phone. Equipped to manage all aspects of psychiatric care, including consults, psychiatric holds, discharge disposition, and related patient care. Position Details and Qualifications: Will be supporting Paradise Valley Hospital in San Diego, CA. Full-time coverage of the Behavioral Health Unit (BHU) only. Work Schedule: Monday through Friday , with at least one weekend per month . Will see approximately 20 patients per day . Salary Package: $385,000–$400,000 annually. Sign-on Bonus available. California medical license required. Preferred start date: As soon as possible. 1099 Independent Contractor preferred , but open to W2 employment.
