Job DescriptionOnsite: Huntsville, ALCo-op from July – December 2027No relocation assistance or housing providedMercury Systems is seeking a Firmware Engineering Co-Op to join a collaborative engineering team focused on designing, developing, integrating, and testing firmware and software solutions for embedded systems. This role offers hands-on experience across the full development lifecycle in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment.Job Responsibilities:Design, implement, and test Firmware based applicationsDevelop and maintain firmware test suites to verify system capabilities and requirementsCollaborate with engineering teams to enhance and support test infrastructureSupport design teams in bring-up and system-level validation of productsRequired Qualifications:Currently enrolled in a university program pursuing a bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics, or a related technical disciplineA minimum GPA of 3.1 is required. You will be asked to submit your transcripts during the review processKnowledge of VHDL or Verilog Hardware Description Languages (HDL)Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and troubleshooting skillsClear and effective written and verbal communication skills"This position requires you to access information that is subject to U.S. export regulations.
