Job Summary:
Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Registered Nurse (RN) position in a critical care setting. The role involves providing specialized care for adult patients with various diagnoses such as sepsis, COPD exacerbation, hypotension urgency, and hypertension urgency. The position offers an opportunity to work within a well-equipped ICU unit that emphasizes patient-centered care and clinical excellence.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Nights shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week, with rotating weekends.
• Required Qualifications: Valid RN license, Associates degree in Nursing, BLS (Basic Life Support) certification, ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification, ICU experience, 1 year of experience, located within a reasonable distance to the healthcare facility.
• Preferred Qualifications: Prior ICU experience preferred.
• Float: Occasionally float to Progressive Care Unit (PCU).
• Additional Information:
  • Unit capacity: 12 beds with patient ratios of 2:1.
  • Electronic Health Record (EHR): Paragon.
  • Position available due to replacement of permanent staff.
  • Upcoming start date: 10/19/2026.
  • End date: 01/25/2027.
  • Shift hours will be nights with a minimum of 36 hours guaranteed per week.
  • Disease management includes sepsis, COPD exacerbation, hypotension urgency, hypertension urgency.
