Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Employment Type: Contract Start Date: August 13, 2026 Available Locations Oak Hill, WV Hico, WV Meadow Bridge, WV Position Overview Client is seeking compassionate and dependable Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) to provide healthcare services to students in a school setting. The ideal candidate will be committed to promoting student health, responding to medical needs, and collaborating with school staff to ensure a safe learning environment. Responsibilities Provide direct nursing care to students in accordance with physician orders and school policies. Assess and monitor student health conditions. Administer prescribed medications and treatments. Respond to medical emergencies and provide first aid when necessary. Maintain accurate and confidential student health records. Communicate with parents, school administrators, and healthcare providers regarding student health concerns. Support students with chronic health conditions and individualized healthcare plans. Ensure compliance with state nursing regulations and school district policies. Qualifications Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the State of West Virginia Previous nursing experience preferred; school nursing or pediatric experience is a plus. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team. Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism.
