SUPERVISOR I

Job Description And Duties The Supervisor I is responsible for a large and complex training department. He/She has the responsibility for coordinating employee professional education and planning education activities for all Developmental Center staff. The Supervisor I coordinates the development, implementation and evaluation of the facility's training programs. The Supervisor coordinates facility training priorities and goals with Departmental training priorities. He/She also ensures that the facility training meets or exceeds the minimum requirements set by the Department of Developmental Services, Licensing, Accreditation and Certification. This position is not eligible for telework, this position is in person only. Multiple positions may be filled from this recruitment. This recruitment may be utilized to fill future vacancies that may occur during the life of the certification list. Pursuant to California Government Code requirements, candidates must be residents of the State of California at the time of appointment.
