Purpose of Job:

The Hot Shot Driver delivers batteries to dealers when requested.?They also assist with warehouse operations and assist Route Managers.

Job Components:

* Run the Hot Shots and assigned routes on a timely basis as needed

* Load and unload batteries

* General warehousing?duties as?assigned by management, including assisting customers

* Deliver batteries to customers on?a timely?basis and in a safe and professional manner

* Follow all Environmental Health and Safety rules and policies

* Ensure batteries are charged,?cleaned?and dated, and that stock is rewrapped after rotation

* Accurately complete reports and claims

* Interact professionally with all stakeholders including team members,?managers?and customers

* Follow / fulfill all driver program requirements, as specified by the manager

* Perform other?duties as assigned

Qualifications:

* Ability to read, write, and do basic math

* Working knowledge of computers or ability to learn applicable systems required

* Working knowledge of electronic inventory management tools is required (tablets, scanners).

* Must have a clean drivers record AND meet driver qualifications requirements

* Ability to operate a motor vehicle and/or forklift

Scope Data:

* Works under general supervision and guidance

* Accountable for?general warehouse duties and backup driving responsibilities, in addition to occasional front counter customer service.

* Operate with integrity and demonstrate a positive attitude

Work Environment:

* Regularly required to use hands to grasp or handle, talk and hear, stand and walk.

* Repetitive lifting.

* Consistent sitting, standing and walking

* Specific vision abilities include close vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

* Be able to regularly lift and/or move up to 50 lbs, without assistance and occasionally lifting up to 75lbs

* Exposed to the hazards of the road when operating or riding in a vehicle

* Exposed to battery warehouse conditions, such as exposure to moving equipment, mechanical parts, fumes or airborne particles; toxic or caustic chemicals

* Use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) required
