Home Service Inspector (Will Train)

Overview As an Orkin Home Services Inspector, you will help homeowners protect their homes through termite protection and pest management services. Responsibilities As a Home Services Inspector you will: Understand Orkin’s termite protection services and make strategic recommendations to customers. Perform 360 inspections from attics to crawlspaces, solving problems and building trusted relationships. Listen to customer needs, explain practical solutions, and win over customers with confidence. Earn top wages, recognition, and opportunities for annual award trips. Serve as a problem solver using in-depth training to decide on the best pest solution. Meet goals through prospecting new business and assigned leads. Schedule sales appointments and meet with potential customers to explain products and services. Inspect the interior and exterior of the customer’s home; training provided. Make recommendations based on inspections, address questions, and set expectations. Ability to obtain the appropriate pesticide license/certification if required (company pays). Ability to work independently in the field and interact with customers. Work Environment Candidates must meet physical job requirements and safely perform duties with or without accommodations: Use a ladder within manufacturer’s weight capacity. Lift and carry up to 50 lbs. Access crawl spaces, attics, confined spaces, rooftops; ability to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl. Wear personal protective equipment (PPE), including OSHA‑compliant respirator when required. Work in various weather conditions.
