From pipelines to power plants, roadways to reservoirs, schoolyards to security solutions, clients look to TRC for breakthrough thinking backed by the innovative follow-through of an industry leader.TRC is seeking a highly motivated Bridge Engineer to join our growing transportation practice in Baton Rouge, LA.The ideal candidate will have experience working on Louisiana DOTD bridge projects, be a team player, and be enthusiastic in working with other engineers, project managers, and other technical staff assisting with planning, designing, and overseeing civil engineering projects, such as the inspection, load rating and design of new bridges and bridges to be rehabilitated.ResponsibilitiesParticipates in the design of new bridges as well as bridges to be rehabilitated.Participate in the production of project plans, specifications, reports and cost estimates.Be involved in all project aspects including inspection/load-rating/design, site/field visits during construction, shop drawing review, and be able to work independently.Efficiently produce quality deliverables while meeting budget and schedules on multiple concurrent projects.Establish and maintain effective working relationships with other employees.Ability to supervise and mentor entry level staff and be responsible for entry level staff job tasks.Ability to provide QA/QC on design calculations, design plans, inspection report, load rating calculations and reports etc.QualificationsBS or MS degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.5 or more years of Bridge Design, Bridge Rehabilitation Design, Inspection, and Load Rating experienceProfessional Engineer LicenseExperience working with complex software such as MDX, MIDAS, LUSAS, AASHTOWare, Bentley Bridge Design Software, LARSA, etc.Experience using computer assisted engineering and design software to prepare engineering and design documentsWorking knowledge of MicroStationProficient with Microsoft Office tools including Word and ExcelExcellent verbal and written communication skillsTRC offers a competitive benefit package consisting of:Medical, dental, vision, and disability insurance.401k package that includes both traditional and Roth IRA options and Company match.Paid time off contingent upon full time or part time status and level of seniority (ranging from 15 to 25 days per year).All full-time employees enjoy a minimum of 8 Paid Holidays per year.TRC ensures that all employees, including those that work part-time, receive paid sick, family, and disability leave in accordance with the laws of their state of residence.Compensation: In accordance with local law, the below salary range is applicable for the job and location associated with this requisition. Compensation will vary based upon experience, education, skill level, geographical location, and other compensable factors.Salary Range: USD $100,000.00 - USD $135,200.00 /Yr.
