Tax Accountant, CPA or EA

Job Summary A well‑established public accounting firm in Tucson, AZ is seeking an experienced Tax Accountant, CPA or EA to join its Tax Department on a direct hire basis. Key Responsibilities Prepare individual and business income tax returns, including multi‑state tax filings. Provide income tax services for businesses, individuals, trusts, estates, and gift tax returns. Conduct quarterly tax planning for business and individual clients. Review financial statements and supporting documentation for accuracy and completeness before tax preparation. Research and resolve tax‑related questions, issues, and client inquiries. Communicate with federal, state, and local taxing authorities as needed. Compensation and Benefits Salary range: $70,000 to $80,000 per year. Direct hire opportunity.
