Registered Nurse (RN) - Outpatient Clinic

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse to join our Outpatient Clinic team. This role is ideal for candidates with a background in ambulatory nursing care, particularly in primary care settings.

Position Overview

This clinical nursing position operates Monday through Friday, from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM. There are no weekend, call, or holiday shifts required.

Key Responsibilities

• Room patients and record vital signs.
• Perform telephone triage and assist with medication refills.
• Provide support for FMLA and authorization for imaging services.
• Schedule colonoscopies and office visits.
• Conduct high-level disinfection of clinical equipment.
• Assist with minor office procedures and examinations.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of exam rooms.
• Deliver patient education and support.
• Manage MyChart messages and direct patient calls.
• Cover the RN triage line and make post-operative calls.
• Provide surgical education and guidance to Medical Assistants (MAs).
• Collaborate closely with a physician to deliver comprehensive patient care.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience, preferably in an outpatient or primary care setting.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply.
• This position includes the potential for temporary-to-hire opportunities.

The selected RN will not be required to float mid-shift, and transportation will be provided for travel between locations as necessary.
