Academic, Hospital-Based Breast Radiologist in Tampa, FL | Monday-Friday

Position Summary Radiology Associates of Florida, a Radiology Partners practice, is seeking a full‑time Breast Radiologist to support our growing practice in Tampa, FL. This position is primarily hospital‑based and academically oriented at Tampa General Hospital. The candidate will work closely with the hospital/university breast surgical team, interpreting screening and diagnostic mammography, ultrasound, and MRI; performing localizations and biopsies; and attending tumor boards as part of an NAPBC‑accredited program. It offers faculty appointments with the University of South Florida, teaching radiology residents and fellows. The role has a high concentration of Breast Imaging (at least 90%, up to 100% for interested candidates). Candidates who wish to maintain general diagnostic skills may participate in general diagnostic shifts and emergency call if desired. Our practice is fully equipped with 3D technology, including stereotactic biopsies. An interest in working collaboratively with local surgeons, pathologists, and oncologists is required. This is a full‑time Monday‑Friday, 8:00 am – 5:00 pm position, with partnership‑track eligibility, although it is not mandatory. Desired Professional Skills And Experience MD or D.O. degree, residency‑trained in Diagnostic Radiology Board eligible or board certified by the American Board of Radiology or the American Osteopathic Board of Radiology Completed one year of post‑residency fellowship training in Breast Imaging preferred MQSA qualification required Florida medical license, or the ability to obtain one Fellows and residents welcome to apply Compensation The salary range for this position is $500,000 – $1,000,000. Final determinations may vary based on education, work experience, certifications, geographic location, and other factors. This role is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.
