Position Overview: Job Type: Per Diem / PRN Location: St. Louis, MO Specialty: Pediatrics Med/Surg Shifts Available: Day Shift: 6:45 AM – 7:15 PM (12 hours) Night Shift: 6:45 PM – 7:15 AM (12 hours) Pay Rate: $45.00 – $47.00 / hour (Based on experience and shift) Key Responsibilities: Provide specialized, age-appropriate nursing care to pediatric patients acute illnesses or recovering from surgical procedures. Conduct thorough clinical assessments, monitor vital signs, and manage pediatric-specific medication administration and IV therapies. Deliver compassionate, family-centered care, ensuring parents and guardians are well-informed and supported throughout the plan of care. Monitor patient conditions closely, rapidly identifying and responding to subtle changes in pediatric status. Collaborate effectively with pediatricians, specialists, and the facility's interdisciplinary team. Job Requirements: Active, unrestricted Missouri (MO) RN License or valid Compact/Multistate License . Must have recent, dedicated Pediatric nursing experience (Pediatric Med/Surg, PICU, or general pediatric floors). Active BLS and PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) certifications.
