Supply Management Specialist

- Provide a single DLA face to the industrial customer on a wide range of issues involving both DLA and non-DLA managed items.
- Provides information to the customer relating to specific items including: acquisition support, price, product uses and technical specification data, quality, and warranty information obtained through system resources.
- Ensure timely processing of customer orders and customer access to product, account and order information.
- Manage the orders processed, submit follow-ups, modifications, cancellations, and provide status updates to customer inquiries.
- Receives and screens list of material requirements generated by Material Management Systems or other offline processes to ensure supportability.
- Advises customer(s) on how to avoid the reoccurrence of problems, based on experience and results of previous studies.
- Must be a U.S. citizen
- Tour of Duty: Set Schedule - Mon-Fri (0730-1600)
- Security Requirements: Non-Critical Sensitive w/ Confidential Access
- Appointment is subject to the completion of a favorable suitability or fitness determination, where reciprocity cannot be applied; unfavorably adjudicated background checks will be grounds for removal.
- Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA): Non-Exempt
- Selective Service Requirement: Males born after 12-31-59 must be registered or exempt from Selective Service.

- Review unfilled order status and take appropriate action to escalate fulfillment actions.
- Apply established expedite procedures to resolve open orders.
- Analyze difficult issues and problems related to supply processes, work methods, supply data management or day-to-day operational procedures.
- Expedite processing of high priority supply requests in order to meet the customer's needs
