Scheduled Weekly Hours: 40 Registered Nurse (RN) –Electrophysiology (EP) Clinic Location: La Crosse, WI Schedule: Full-Time (1.0 FTE) Hours: 8-hour shifts between 7:30 AM – 5:00 PM. No weekends, holidays, or call obligation Position Overview Join a highly specialized Electrophysiology (EP) team providing advanced cardiac care in a collaborative, high-performing environment. This role blends procedural coordination, patient education, and clinical nursing responsibilities with a mix of phone-based and in-person care. You’ll work closely with cardiology physicians and advanced practice clinicians to support patients undergoing EP procedures such as device implants and ablations, helping elevate the level of nursing practice in a subspecialty setting. What you will do: Manage triage phone communications and patient in-basket messages Coordinate and prepare patients for EP procedures including: Pacemakers Implantable cardioverter-defibrillators (ICDs) Ablations Cardioversions Provide pre-procedural education Support medication management and follow-up care Collaborate closely with EP physicians and APCs on patient’s plan of care Balance of phone-based care coordination with direct patient interaction What you need: RN licensure to practice in the state of Wisconsin Minimum of Associate Degree in Nursing Minimum of 1 year RN experience, knowledge in cardiology required Understanding of cardiac rhythms and terminology highly valued What you will get: Starting pay of $34.65 + more for experience Work in a highly specialized cardiology subspecialty Collaborate with a skilled, supportive, and collegial team Build deeper expertise in electrophysiology and cardiac care Engage in meaningful interactions with a unique patient population Support to grow in your career with access to our Career Development Center and Tuition Investment Program Top-rated retirement plan and healthcare benefits Emplify Health, a partnership of Bellin Health and Gundersen Health System, is a leading not-for-profit, patient-centered healthcare network based in Green Bay and La Crosse, Wisconsin.
