Certified Medical Assistant (CMA)

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Medical Assistant to join our dynamic interventional pain management team. This role provides both clinical and administrative support to ensure efficient patient care and a seamless clinic experience. The ideal candidate is a team player who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is committed to delivering high-quality care. We also focus on cross training all individuals from the clinical team to front desk. Room patients, obtain vital signs, and update all patient medical history in the EMR (eClinicalWorks) Assist physicians with exams and in-office procedures Prepare exam rooms and ensure they are cleaned and stocked between visits Monitor patient safety and comfort throughout their visit Greet and communicate with patients in a courteous and professional manner Explain procedures and prepare patients for physical exams or treatments Provide discharge instructions and ensure patients understand follow-up care Accurately document visit notes, vitals, and procedures in the EMR Ensure all clinical documentation and coding comply with regulatory standards Track and manage clinical supplies; notify supervisor when inventory is low Follow infection control protocols and adhere to HIPAA and OSHA standards Participate in emergency drills and in-office safety practices Maintain current CPR/BLS credentials Certified or Registered Medical Assistant (CMA/RMA) preferred Prior experience in a pain management, orthopedic, or surgical setting is a plus Strong interpersonal and organizational skills Proficient with EMR systems (eClinicalWorks experience is an asset) Reliable transportation and ability to travel to other locations if needed Job Type: Full-time Benefits: 401(k) Dental insurance Health insurance Paid time off Work Location: In person Somerset NJ with travel to other NJ offices.
