Merrick operates three main business lines: credit cards, recreational lending, and merchant services.Carson Smithfield, LLC provides a variety of post-charge-off debt recovery services, including digital self-service, IVR, live agent, and external agency management.**Position Summary:**The Manager, Card Business Analytics (Loss Prevention Strategy) plays a pivotal role in shaping and executing post charge-off Recovery strategies aimed at maximizing return on investment through Agency, Legal, DSC and Debt Sale channels. This position serves as a strategic partner across the company, applying advanced analytics to evaluate the effectiveness of current loss mitigation initiatives and drive innovation in recovery strategy. This role requires strong collaboration with cross-functional teams, particularly operations, to align Recovery initiatives with broader business objectives. Additionally, the Manager is also responsible for overseeing compliance with audit and regulatory standards, while documenting and improving key processes and performance metrics within the Recovery function.**Essential Functions:*** Oversees the application of advanced quantitative and statistical techniques to evaluate the effectiveness of current strategies, identify opportunities for improvement and support implementation of new initiatives that drive recovery performance and operational efficiency.* Serves as the strategic liaison between Strategy, Operations, IT and other key stakeholders.
