Cardiac Anesthesiologist

The Nashville VA Medical Center is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Cardiac Anesthesiologist to join our growing Anesthesia Service in beautiful Nashville, Tennessee. Position Highlights Primary focus on cardiac anesthesia , including CABG, valve surgery, TAVR, and other complex cardiac procedures in an academic, team-based environment. Collaborative practice with surgeons, cardiologists, intensivists, and CRNAs to provide high-quality, evidence-based perioperative care. Participation in preoperative assessment, intraoperative management, postoperative care, and critical care as needed. Compensation and Benefits Competitive salary: Commensurate with qualifications and experience (aligned with VA anesthesiologist compensation in Nashville). Eligibility for annual performance bonus and regular salary increases , consistent with VA physician pay practices. Up to 50-55 days of paid time off per year (annual leave, sick leave, paid federal holidays, and potential paid CME time).
