AI Automation EngineerThe AI Automation Engineer is responsible for designing and implementing AI-driven automation solutions, leveraging large language models (LLMs), using platforms such as n8n, Databricks, Claude, CoPilot, and Microsoft Foundry to build agentic workflows that improve operational efficiency and decision-making.Reporting Structure:Reports to: VP of IT Aligned to: Decision Intelligence / AI functionCore Responsibilities:Design and build AI-powered workflows using tools such as n8n, APIs, and LLM platformsDevelop and optimize prompts for reliable outputs and agent behaviorOrchestrate multi-step AI agents across systems (email, CRM, data platforms, etc.)Integrate enterprise systems using APIs, webhooks, and automation frameworksImplement human-in-the-loop controls and AI governance guardrailsPrototype high-impact use cases and scale into production solutionsCollaborate with team members and stakeholders to deliver projects in line with specifications and deadlines.Monitor performance, accuracy, and cost of AI workflowsQualifications:2–5 years' experience in automation, software development, or AI toolsExperience with Python or JavaScriptHands-on experience with automation / pipeline tools (Data Factory, n8n, Power Automate, Zapier, etc.)Experience with AI/LLM tools / agents (Copilot, OpenAI, Fabric Studio, Claude Managed Agents / SDK, etc.)Strong problem-solving and systems thinking skills.Brixmor offers a hybrid work schedule (first three days of the week in the office, the balance remote optional), very competitive pay commensurate with background and responsibilities plus a benefits and perks package that supports career engagement, growth, good health and connection with teammates and our communities.EOE (Brixmor is an Equal Opportunity Employer)
